5 ultra-refreshing homemade iced tea recipes

What better way to cool off than with a delicious homemade iced tea? Fresh, healthy and easy to make, iced tea is the perfect drink to enjoy all summer long. Here are five recipes to try!

Iced Tea Basics

The basic ingredients for homemade iced tea are tea, water, sugar and lemon. You can essentially make it with any tea you like, but the most commonly used types are black, green or red fruit teas.

Tea bags are the easiest to work with. Loose tea, on the other hand, is harder, but usually of better quality, giving you a more aromatic and flavorful iced tea.

Once you have the base in place, you can start adding and crumbling: quartered peaches, mint leaves… Anything for the taste and look of your iced tea. Here are 5 recipes to get you started.
